I met Jerry and Cheryl at the De Waterkant cottage on the evening of the 28th and after becoming acquainted we worked our plans for the next 2 days.
On the morning of the 29th I met Jerry and Cheryl and we set out on a Winelands tour as well as a visit to the township of Kayamandi.
Our first stop was in the city centre where I took the above picture of Cheryl and Jerry standing on the demarcated space representing the centre of Cape Town
We travelled to the Afrikaans Language monument where I took the above picture of Cheryl and Jerry

We visited Kei Carpets near to Franschhoek
On our way back from Franschhoek we stopped in at an antiques store that Cheryl spotted. The above picture was taken in the store as shows up an old Apartheid sign that we found in the store.
We stopped in for lunch at Allee Bleue before moving on to Stellenbosch to visit the township of Kayamandi

It was absolutely wonderful to tour Cheryl and Jerry through the Cape Town and Cape Winelands region. We certainly got on very well with each other in that we had so much in common and together we had a wonderful time exploring my city and its surrounds. Both Cheryl and Jerry were so easy to get along with and this definitely contributed to us having such a wonderful tour together. All in all this was a wonderfully relaxing and fabulous tour for me and I can but only hope that Jerry and Cheryl felt similarly.
THANKS A TON CHERYL and JERRY.
