I met Stan and Stephanie at Welgelegen guesthouse. As they were having problems at the guesthouse we went in search of new accommodation and decided on the Portswood Hotel. After drooping off San and Stephanie's baggage off at the hotel we went on a short city tour.

What a wonderful couple Stan and Stephanie were to travel with. We shared lots together and had many long conversations about what we were seeing around us. Stan and Stephanie simply took all in their stride and enjoyed our time together immensely. Our total tour experience was a fabulous one as we had so much to talk about and so much in common that for me our day together was not only a fabulous touring experience but also a great opportunity to become acquainted with a truly fabulous couple.

Dear Selwyn:
We have finally gotten our life back to some semblance of order and find we miss our newly adopted city more than ever. Because of your meticulous attention to every detail, our visit to your beloved Cape Town will live forever as a highlight of our world travels. We'll remember our Anniversary on April 24th especially for the Protea we bought at the flower fair. Then the lunch at Burnt Orange and having you toast us with that special bottle of champagne. Your deft handling of the dagger to perform a Sabrage in order to break the top of the bottle off was worth the price of admission. We will keep the top of that bottle as a memento of our trip. The wine tasting at Waterford Winery and the picture of you laying prone on the ground in order to get the right shot of Ernie Els golf ball teed up at his vineyard will be remembered for a long time. It's hard to pick out our favorite moment with you at the helm during the Cape Town caper. Once again ,you have proven yourself the ultimate host to the most beautiful city in the world. Stephanie and I can hardly wait to start the trip again and to thank you for this wonderful memory.
